Installation Guide
Installing your new lawn is straightforward with the right preparation.
Quick Steps:
- Prepare the base – Clear the area of turf, weeds, and debris. Compact the ground with a sub-base for stability.
- Lay a membrane – Add a weed barrier (and optional foam underlay) for a smooth, clean finish.
- Roll out the grass – Unroll, let it settle, and trim edges neatly with a sharp knife. Keep pile direction the same.
- Join & secure – Use seam tape and adhesive for joins. Fix edges with pins or edging every 10–15cm.
- Brush & finish – Brush fibres upright and rinse down to settle the surface.
Tips:
- Always order enough in one batch for colour consistency.
- Ensure slight slope away from buildings for drainage.
- Regular brushing keeps your lawn looking fresh.
Cutting Guide
- Grass is cut to 2 & 4m lengths
- Rolls are up to 25m long (Residential only) and cut to the nearest 0.5m on the length. – For sports grass length please enquire at admin@astrolondon.co.uk

- Free delivery within Greater London and surrounding boroughs on orders above £300.
- £59 delivery charge on mainland UK orders.
- £119 delivery charge on offshore UK orders
- Delivery within 48 hours available in greater London. Delivery within 5-10 days on nationwide UK orders.
Returns & Refunds
On bespoke orders that are cut to size, we reserve the right to not accept returns for Artificial Grass.
Any cut to size products that are accepted for return are subject to the following conditions:
- Proof of purchase.
- Collection fee of a minimum £35 (Or the same as the delivery charge if the delivery charge is greater).
- Re-stocking fee which of 25% of the order value.
- Products returned must be, unused & undamaged.
Any unused items such as, full uncut rolls or accessories may be returned within 5 days of purchase. Collection charge will be applicable.
Non bespoke items that are accepted for return within 7 days of purchase and are subject to the following conditions:
- A collection or delivery charge – minimum £35 (Or the same as the delivery charge if the delivery charge is greater).
- The item is unused and undamaged
- You have proof of purchase
Damaged or Faulty Product
Goods received should be fully rolled out and inspected before use. Any faulty, damaged, or incorrect goods should be reported to our sales team.
Please note: Products that have colour variation due to the product being manufactured in batches and this is not a fault.
Please ensure this is thoroughly checked before installation. Do not fit or use the product in anyway as you will then be liable for the costs and liable for keeping the goods. If the goods have not been used, we will offer an exchange, as appropriate.
We suggest that you do not schedule any installation work until a few days after receiving the delivery if you are using a contractor to carry out the works. This will enable you to check the goods and resolve any technical issues prior to their arrival. Please take a moment to check the details on the order confirmation, to ensure the correct products have been ordered.

This is our high quality, budget product. Although the cheapest in our range, the Richmond park still gives good competition to some of our rivals ‘premium’ products. It is a 28mm grass which has a mixed colour blend and a medium density stitch. The Richmond park has a high quality colour and is a great addition to any commercial or residential space.
