Astro 15mm Sports

The 15mm sports grass is the shortest pile grass we stock. It is a sports product designed for Cricket, Tennis, golf and hockey. Installation technique and sand infill varies to tailor the product for each individual sport. The 15mm sports can also be used for multi use sports pitches in schools, colleges and community areas.

Astro 30mm Sports

The 30mm sports grass is an ideal grass for 2G sports pitches. It is installed with a heavy sand infill giving it a great ball bounce and roll. We would recommend this product for sports pitches & MUGA’s that are focused on football & multi sports. The surface is great for a multitude of sports including hockey & Netball. The 30mm sports is a favourite for our school MUGA installations.

The 40mm sports grass is our FIFA approved 3G sports grass. Installed with the correct pad and infill, this grass meets the FIFA approved pitch regulations.

The 60mm sports is our FIFA 2star & IRB approved product. It is suitable for both football & Rugby use. The star product meets the necessary performance requirements for top level football and rugby. The surface is non-abrasive and visually as close to real turf as you can get, whilst offering excellent performance for both sports. In order to ensure that the 40mm sports grass meets performance requirements and fulfils all expectations it must be installed as a system, this system includes the shock pad, the turf and installation supervision from AstroLondon.
